SEX AND THE CITY

Ok, ok so everybody says it's awful and degrading. I don't! I just loved it! May be because I've never been a fan of the television show, may be because it all fitted in smoothly.
What I can tell you is that even a feminist can like this movie. This is not about shallow women, about labels and men. It's about life and women who are friends. This is, indeed, a movie about female friendship - about gals that go on with their lives without leaving their friends behind. These women are each other's soul mates and provide emotional, practical and moral support to each other. They don't compete with each other for male attention. They make each other laugh. They are genuine .
The movie makes us laugh thousands of times, it makes you wonder and best of all it forces some of us to think about life - the one we have, the one we want and the one we should be fighting for.
Each of us will have a different reading and we will no doubt identify ourselves with something along the way. For me it was like this: I saw myself as ambitious, intolerant and strict as Miranda; with Charlotte I shared my desire of being a mum (that is as big as one can picture); with Samantha the self-centredness (which can be a problem) and finally with Carrie the dream we all have of wanting to find happiness whatever that may be.

Even though critics seem to be too harsh this is one I think we shouldn't miss.
